EMDR THERAPY

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched therapy that helps the brain process traumatic or distressing experiences that continue to feel unresolved.

Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or alternating taps, EMDR supports the brain’s natural capacity to integrate painful memories without requiring you to relive every detail.

As these experiences are processed, they can become less emotionally charged, creating space for relief, new perspectives and more adaptive ways of responding.

The American Psychological Association’s Clinical Practice Guideline suggests EMDR for treating post-traumatic stress disorder.
